Anthony L. Barney, Esq. is the president, senior partner, and majority shareholder of Anthony L. Barney, Ltd., where he practices in the areas of estate and trust litigation, and estate, trust, and business planning. Anthony has twenty years of legal experience to address the needs of his clients in the preparation of wills, revocable living trusts, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts and domestic asset protection trusts; as well as business formation, organization and trust administration. Anthony has represented numerous service professionals, including architects, engineers, general contractors, entertainers, doctors, realtors, and other lawyers. He has also represented corporate, partnership, and limited-liability companies, common interest communities, management companies, and 501(c) nonprofit corporations throughout the Las Vegas and Pahrump Valleys.
Anthony (“Tony”) L. Barney was born in Portland, Oregon and was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from Western High School, and received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University (“BYU”) in Provo, Utah. While at BYU, he became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He returned to Las Vegas and received his Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He then attended law school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City (“UMKC”) and received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. At UMKC, he was recognized as a Dean’s Honor Roll student. He also served as president of the Federalist Society at UMKC. Thereafter, he completed his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) degree at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and returned to Las Vegas. Anthony is licensed to practice law in the Nevada and Idaho State and federal courts and maintains offices in Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nevada.

He represents contractors in the building trades with administrative disputes involving the Nevada State Contractor’s Board.
Anthony L. Barney, Ltd. has an extensive and successful appellate history in the state and federal courts having worked on several appeals with several published opinions. Anthony has worked on the rules committee for the probate section of the Nevada State Bar Association. He has drafted bill legislation for the Nevada legislature, and has participated as a member of the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council, State Bar of Nevada, and Idaho State Bar. He has served as a professional and legal advisor to various local charities in the Southern Nevada region. Mr. Barney is the past vice president of the governing board for a K-12 Nevada Public Charter School, and is past vice president of a charitable foundation dedicated to the improvement of education. He was the host of the business and estate planning radio program entitled “Matters of Trust,” which aired for several seasons in Las Vegas.
Anthony is an avid gardener and loves the outdoors. He enjoys the building trades and real estate development. He enjoys using his technical and science-based educational background to assist his clients with their legal matters. Anthony has served as a Boy Scout leader, having achieved the rank of Eagle himself. He loves and appreciates his Las Vegas and Pahrump communities. Anthony has continued his love of education by serving as an instructor for National Business Institutes (“NBI”) teaching other attorneys for more than ten years in the area of trust and estate planning and related litigation. Anthony is a published author in the Nevada Lawyer magazine. Anthony is a member of the Nevada State Bar Association and the Idaho State Bar. He is a passionate advocate for his clients, having argued in the justice, family, probate, and business courts of the District Courts of Clark, Nye, and Washoe Nevada Counties and before the full panel of Nevada Supreme Court. He serves as a professional advisor to various local charities in the Southern Nevada region. He is fluent in Spanish.

Zachary D. Holyoak, Esq. serves as vice-president and shareholder of Anthony L. Barney, Ltd., where he practices in the areas of estate and trust litigation, and estate, trust, and business planning. Zach has extensive legal experience to address the needs of his clients in the preparation of wills, revocable living trusts, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts and domestic asset protection trusts; as well as business formation, organization and trust administration. Zach is an experienced litigator in civil and administrative courts in Nevada.
Zachary (“Zach”) D. Holyoak, Esq. was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from Clark High School, and received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix (“UofP”) in Las Vegas, Nevada. He then attended law school at the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (“UNLV”) and received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. At UNLV, he was a member of the J. Reuben Clark Society, earned a CALI Excellence for the Future award, and graduated a semester early. While at UNLV, he spent the summer of 2014 as an extern with the probate commissioner at the Eight Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nevada, Wesley Yamashita (retired). Zach is licensed to practice law in the Nevada state and federal courts and practices in the Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nevada offices of Anthony L. Barney, Ltd.
Zachary D. Holyaok, Esq. serves as vice-president and shareholder of Anthony L. Barney, Ltd., where he practices in the areas of estate and trust litigation, estate, trust, and business planning. Zach has extensive legal experience to address the needs of his clients in the preparation of wills, revocable living trusts, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and domestic asset protection trusts; as well as business formation, organization, and trust administration. He serves individuals, contractors, and companies in the building trades with civil and administrative disputes and litigation in the Nevada courts and before the Nevada State Contractor’s Board (“NSCB”). Zach has extensive experience in probate and trust disputes regarding breach of trust, undue influence, and fiduciary malfeasance. He is highly skilled in contractual disputes and litigation matters including breach of contract, conversion, and jurisdictional issues. Zach has an extensive and successful appellate history in the state and federal courts, having worked on several appeals with opinions published and unpublished by the Nevada Supreme Court.
Zach enjoys the outdoors and also enjoys gardening, animal husbandry, and real estate development. Zach loves his Southern Nevada community and continues to represent many individuals and businesses working in the business, trust, legal, accounting, entertainment, construction, real estate, and common interest community industries.
Zach is a member of the Nevada State Bar Association and provisionally accepted to the Texas State Bar. He passionately advocates for his clients, having argued in the justice, family, probate, and business courts in Clark, Nye, White Pines, and Washoe Counties in Nevada.

Kevin M. Ross, Esq. is an associate attorney with Anthony L. Barney, Ltd., where he practices in the areas of estate and trust litigation, and estate, trust, and business planning. Kevin has the legal experience to address the needs of his clients in the preparation of wills, revocable living trusts, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, domestic asset protection trusts, and the formation, organization, and administration of trusts and businesses. He is also proficient in intellectual property law.
Kevin Michael Ross, Esq. was born in the Republic of Panama and was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from Clark High School, served a two-year mission in Southern Brazil, and received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics with a minor in Global Business and Literacy from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Upon his graduation, he worked as an analyst for Goldman Sachs. He then attended the University of Tennessee College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. At the University of Tennessee, he served as President of the Latino Law Student Association, a founding member of the Knoxville Latino Bar Association, and an Executive Editor on the Transactions: Tennessee Journal of Business Law. Kevin is licensed to practice law in the Nevada state and federal courts and practices in the offices in Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nevada of Anthony L. Barney, Ltd.
He is a diligent advocate for his clients. He focuses his practice on trust, estate, and business planning and litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the J. Outside of his legal practice, Kevin enjoys nature, athletics, dancing, novel writing, cooking, community service, and learning new skills and trades.
